The abstract and representational works that fill my canvases are born from images I see in everyday life, my imagination, and from my travels at home and abroad.
My goal is for the viewer to see those objects and places through my lens, which focuses on movement and depth while maintaining calmness and serenity.
If I can pass on those feelings on to the viewer, then I have succeeded.

A.A.S. Merchandising, FIT NY 1980
B.A. Economics, SUNY Stony Brook, NY 1983
I have spent most of my life in the Hamptons, Manhattan and Southern Florida.
A creative person by nature my love of painting started by faux painting the walls of my homes. I thoroughly enjoyed the physical and emotional process of transforming
a blank space into something special. It took many years, but finally took my brush to a canvas and was immediately hooked.
While mostly self taught, I have a desire to meet other artists and share in the art experience. I have taken workshops and classes at the Art Students League of NY, the National Academy Museum and School, the Armory Art Center of W. Palm Beach and studied with Ted Matz and Laurie Snow Hein.
I am a member of the Southampton Artists Association, Lighthouse Art Center School of Art and have participated at the following Group Shows/Exhibits:
Lost Tree Art Shows 2010-2020
Lighthouse Art Center "Best of the Clubs" 2018
JF Gallery 6th Annual Juried Exhibit 2017
Rogers Memorial Library Art Show- Southampton Scenes 2015
Guild Hall Member Exhibit 2012
My work is in many private collections
